The estate brings together two independent villas at the end of a private lane in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, at the gateway to the Luberon. For practice: the large shaded 90 m² north terrace, the gardens, the sunny south terraces, and the two living rooms for sessions out of the heat. For daily life: 8 air-conditioned bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens for group meals, and 2 pools heated to 27 °C from April to the end of October.
The venue is self-catered, with no hotel service: your teacher, your cook or your caterer are welcome, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Midweek and off-season stays offer the best value, from €16 to €69 per participant per night depending on the dates.
For a retreat, calm matters: no immediate neighbours, no parties, and Provençal light from morning to evening. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse for the morning walk, Gordes or the L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue market for the free afternoon.
Our properties
Each with its own garden and private pool — rent them separately or together.
Tropical garden, free-form pool, Bali spirit. An exotic green haven in the heart of Provence.
Banksy-inspired murals, olive garden, street art in Provence. A villa that is also a work of art.
Arrive on Thursday late afternoon, settle into the eight bedrooms, then a gentle first session on the north terrace before a dinner prepared in the two kitchens. Friday and Saturday, practice at sunrise facing the garden, a free morning between the pool and a walk to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, workshops in the living rooms in the afternoon, meditation around the fire pit at dusk. Sunday, a last session, brunch, and departure by 11 am.
The organiser brings the programme, the mats and the team. The venue provides made-up beds, bath towels, two fully equipped kitchens, WiFi, two heated pools, parking and a contact who can be reached at any time. End-of-stay cleaning is included; there are no staff on site, which keeps the group's privacy intact.
On budget, the whole estate costs €250 to €1,100 a night depending on the season, or €16 to €69 per participant, compared with €3,000 to €6,000 a night for the large retreat estates of the Luberon. The invoice is made out to your association or company, with payment by card or bank transfer. For a quote, write to villas2provence@gmail.com with your dates and group size.
